There’s only one thing better than having a baby, and that’s having two! That’s what happened to Flower Shop Network employee Joe Teasley and his wife Kelly. They were recently blessed with two beautiful additions to their family in Brody (boy) and Kodie (girl). To celebrate, Flower Shop Network decided to host a baby shower in their honor! (I have it on good authority that no babies were actually showered at the event.) A cake of congratulations! You can’t see from this photo, but the cake itself was half blue and half pink
I first met Alena about 12 years ago when we took floral design classes at College of San Mateo, we’ve stayed in touch over the years and I’ve enjoyed seeing her floral design business grow. I had the chance last week to visit her awesome shop which is located in downtown Half Moon Bay, California
How involved is your flower shop in the local community? (No blank stares, please.) The more you put yourself out there, the more you will get back! Do more for your public image by offering workshops to your community. This engaging approach cements your business in the minds of customers, and can be highly rewarding.

So many tulips and daffodils on display! Here are the flowers I purchased at Pike Place Market: The bouquet I designed with the flowers I purchased (with Pieris Japonica from the garden): While we were in downtown Seattle I thought to visit Fiori Flower Shop .
