May 8th, 2013 | By: Juli Jackson May is definitely the month for honoring American military heros. With 2 holidays that focus on those that serve our country, you have twice the opportunity to show your love for the red, white and blue this month
Syringa (Lilac) is a genus of about 20–25 species of flowering woody plants in the olive family (Oleaceae), native to woodland and scrub from southeastern Europe to eastern Asia, and widely and commonly cultivated in temperate areas elsewhere. The genus is most closely related to Ligustrum (privet), classified with it in Oleaceae tribus Oleeae subtribus Ligustrinae. Lilacs are often considered to symbolize love (see language of flowers).
